“Welcome to your Level 3 Team Leader Supervisor apprenticeship programme delivered by ABM Training. We are excited to have you onboard and learning with us.
Your 12 month apprenticeship will include workshops taught by experts, virtual classrooms, professional coaching , 1-2-1 support and we’ll guide you through a programme that is designed to help you become a more effective leader or supervisor.
Who is this apprenticeship aimed at ?
You’ll be working in a first line management role with operational & project responsibilities or the responsibility for managing a team. You’ll be providing direction, instruction, and guidance to ensure the achievement of set goals or objectives. You could be working in the private, public or third sector and in any size of organisation. Your specific responsibilities will vary, but the knowledge, skills and behaviours that Team Leaders need are based on the same founding principles and skills. Your responsibilities may include supporting, managing, and developing team members; managing projects, planning and monitoring workloads and resources; delivering operational plans; resolving problems; and building relationships internally and externally.
What will you learn during your programme?
Your apprenticeship covers core themes focussed on leadership styles, decision making, managing people, managing yourself and communication. We move on to look at project management, negotiation skills, equality and diversity, operational management and finance
We’ll help you focus on achievement and results and you’ll leave the course with a toolbox of leadership skills.
You will experience a blend of learning, consisting of innovative and experiential conference style CPD workshops, forum theatre, and one to one coaching. You will also access dynamic e-learning and videos to help you embed your knowledge, enabling you to transfer your new skills into the workplace.
